Arise Collective Theatre was founded in 2019 by Rich, Mindi, and Grace Garnaat. With a passion for both musical theatre and proclaiming the gospel, Arise was birthed to inspire and impact the lives of others through creatively communicating God’s truth and performing redemptive themed pieces. The name and mission comes from Isaiah 60:1-2 which says, “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the Lord will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you.” This verse has been the inspiration for Arise Collective to shine as a light in the darkness through the sight and sound produced in their performances.
Arise Collective Theatre’s aim is to create, produce, and perform high quality musical theatre which positively impacts the audience and members’ lives for the Kingdom of God.
Arise Collective is a 501(c)(3) organization recognized as a public charity (EIN 86-1604104).
